When best to go to casualty?
7 Answers
Have been to the nurse at the doctors surgery this morning as my son has got a splinter in his forehead which I couldn't get out. She says our next course of action is to go to casualty for an x-ray so they can see how deep it is. She said it isn't urgent, but he needs to go in the next couple of days. Am I best going tomorrow (Friday) morning or Saturday morning? My feeling is Friday as there will be more staff in the x-ray department, my son wants to go on Saturday when it's a non-school day (I don't think he want people to know about this splinter!). So peeps - when would you go - Friday or Saturday. (He didn't want to go today - just wanted to go to school - ah bless!).

Seriously, even on a weekend the x-ray dept will be well staffed due to the drunken oafs that insist on going out for a punch up, but I would suggest friday morning may be quieter
