I'm 3 months pregnant and my tummy is huge, is that right?

I'm having my first scan on Tuesday so I guess all will be revealed then. I am slightly worried for obvious reasons. Anyway, my morning sickness subsided pretty much from week 9 or 10. I was a little worried and a few people on here reassured me its probably normal. Well in the last 2 weeks my tummy has really become huge. All my trousers are too tight now and I look like more like 5 months than 3. Is that a good sign? TIA

I had to start wearing maternity clothes by 10 weeks in all 3 of my pregnancies. Some people just seem to show earlier than others. My 3 children were all small babies so that had nothing to do with it either. My fiance didn't believe there was only one baby in there at my 9 week dating scan,when he asked the radiographer if she was sure and why I had such a big belly she told him I was just fat.lol. I am far from fat and prior to pregnancy was a size 8.I had no morning sickness in any of the pregnancies...just really bad heartburn and sore boobs.

Thanks daffy, it's good to know what other people experienced. I unfortuntely didn't have a completely flat tummy before but it was nothing like it is now. My partner is also convinced that there is more than one baby in there. You were so luck y not to have had morning sickness. Mine was bloody awful.

I was convinced I was having twins too as I had become so big so quick.............there is only one in there though! lol
Is this your first? I keep being told that the reason I got big quick is because this is the 2nd time round for me and everything happens quicker as my body knows what it has to do this time.

Thanks someguy and psychick. this is my first and thats probably why I'm so neurotic about every little thing. Ill relax once Ive had the 1st scan

I was in very loose clothing from 4 months in both pregnancies. Somebody stopped me in the street nearing the end of my second pregnancy and asked me how many I had in there! - although to be fair she did weightr 9lb 3 oz!

That is one heavy baby. Painful!!
