weight gain

hi ..wondering if anyone can help... i had a termination in june, at the same time i was fitted with the mirena contraceptive, have noticed that weight has gone up nearly 1 stone, is it due to the termination or being fitted with the mirena?.. im usually 8 and a half stone now im nearly 9 and a half !!!!!!!!!!!!!

the termination would not directly affect your weight, have you noticed a change in your diet? it is likely that it is the mirena, oral contraceptives also have the same effect for most women. Hopefully it will settle down for you, in the meantime, dont forget to eat a healthy well balanced diet and exercise regularly, best of luck x
