twins dna & illnesses
0 Answers
Now I know that identical twins do have identical DNA I would like to ask another question.
If my twin and I both had DNA swabs taken for analysis to ascertain which common illnesses could be hidden in our genes (as shown in the ITV programme last week "Killer in Me") would the results be identical? If so, I assume one test could be shared between the pair! If one twin went on to develop a serious illness would the other twin be likely to develop it too.
