Are leaky breasts normal before period?
5 Answers
My breasts have started to feel a lot more tender and achy 2 or 3 days before my period over the last few months. Last month, and again this month, while massaging one to relieve the discomfort, a drop or two of watery milky liquid leaked out, kind of like when I breastfed my son (who's nearly 6). Does anyone know if this is normal? Or at least within the parameters of normality?!

That was about 3 or 4 months ago now, and periods have been as per usual since then apart from this thing with my breasts. I'll maybe try to get an appointment at the doc if it happens again next month - trying to get an appointment at this time of year can be a bit of a lucky dip round our way!
I wouldn't wait and see next month - I would go and get it checked out now - Any changes to your breasts must be checked out. True, it is probably be nothing to worry about, but if it is something, then at least you have caught it in time. You could have an infection. Btw - GPs can be quieter during xmas week as everyone stays away because they think it will be busy! Good luck
