Ear infection?

over the past 7 - 9 days i have been feeling a bit of pain under my jaw on the left side of my face and it has worked its way up around my ear and just above it too. i feel like there is a little pressure and pain in my ear. i have tried blowing my nose etc but it wont go away! also have a bit of sore throat on the left too. could it be an ear infection? can you just get it in one ear?

When was the last time you went to dentist? could have something to do with your teeth? if not heat up a little olive oil,but on a bit of cotton and put in ear,will sooth it.

i was at the dentist just a couple of weeks ago! everything was hunky dory!! actually this started just a few days after i was at the dentist?!

strange...?! well try the olive oil thing ive suggested see how you get on with that,ear infections are easily sorted.

I had similar symptoms after going to the dentist. My jaw and ear were sore and it felt as if my ear needed to 'pop'. My wisdom teeth were growing in (and still are).It lasted about a week or 2 then seemed to disappear.Hope it gets better soon because I know how horrible it feels :)
