Hey sorry for the late response, I can't access AB at work and don't come on here every day. I'm a Katie as well, so this could get confusing! That book sounds really good, I might go pick up a copy. And 11 stone weight loss is just amazing, congrats!
I'm not 'doing' a diet as such because I figured I totally need to change my attitude and routine to make this the norm rather than the exception. BUT I do have a well known milkshake at lunch time, as I have for some time anyway, mostly because its easy for me as I don't eat sandwiches (don't ask!) I used to have stuff like mcdonalds or jacket potatoes or marks and sparks salads before. I've crept up from 10 stone to 14 stone over the last 6 years (I'm 26 now and 5ft 6in) just by bad habits brought on by moving away from home. So I am now trying to make good habits instead!
So I've been going to the gym three times a week for an hour at a time and changing what and how much I eat. I'm already down to 13 stone but really want to get to 10 stone within the next 6 months, because I'm getting married next May and I'd love to order a size 10 wedding dress, not the size 16 I'm currently in.
So when I go to the gym I do 15 minutes interval training on the treadmill at 4mph and 15 minutes interval training on the bike at 80rpm, then some weight training and stretches. I'm trying to omit wheat and sugar from my diet as much as possible. I'm eating oat cheerios with ss milk for brekkie and a glass of juice, fruit and small piece of cheese midmorning, milshake at lunch, yoghurt and fruit smoothie mid afternoon, then a normal but smaller meal at dinner (like spag bol, chilli, steak and salad, stirfry etc)
I'm hoping I am creating new, better habits and heading for a nice slim me - but goodness isn't it hard (and boring) sometimes?!
