gelda,
I was wondering all day how you got on.
I am so sorry the way you were treated.
I thought the Oncologist you saw the last time re-scheduled so that he could talk with you personally.
Doctors are very truthful nowadays and feel that every patient wants to know all the details. They can be so hard at times, but they must see so many patients every day, telling them the same thing.
It could be that they are waiting for the MRSA to clear before they start treatment.
Anyway, I am really so sorry at your news.
Hopefully the Radiotherapy will start soon after all your tests.
I just wish you had been treated by the Professor that carried out my operation. He was so positive and a real gentleman. I could not have wished for better.
Hubby gets his operation Friday. No, I don't stay at the hospital, as it is a big teaching one. Best allow them to get on with it, then over to me to nurse him back to health for another three months.
I do hope that you have family or friends that you can talk to about this. It does help so much.
I cannot access PM, or I would have listened to you anytime you needed to talk.
If you go to dundeelocalpages.com and go to contact us, I will be able to email you from an email address that you leave. That is, if you would like to do that. It is our site and totally private.
