odema in leg

hello i woke up tuesday morning had pains in my left leg couldnt put my foot down had to stand on tip toes went to docs he gave me diaemzpan for mussel spasm s that dis not work still lots of pain went back to docs yesterday he thought it was blood clot sent to to hospital for lots of tests it turn out after getting ultra sound on my left leg i had fluid on leg called odema which may i say i had in tummy 7yrs ago when daughter was born all the doc at hospital gave me was paracetomol .so questions is IS THERE ANY MEDICATION FOR ODEMA? AS PARACETOMOL IS ONLY PAIN RELIEF AND HOW WILL I GET RID OF ODEMA?
