Pain in jaw
5 Answers
I have had a pain in my left jaw, just to the side of where my ear lobe is for over 6 weeks now.
its not my teeth, its right on the joint, and when i open my mouth wide it hurts. It seems to ease off a bit as the day goes by.
Anyone any idea what it could be?
Cheers...

They can check your teeth for any wear and anything that's not as it should be. If you are grinding they can make you a mouthguard to wear at night and the pain should disappear.
Hope this helps :)

I had this not so long ago, mine started off creaking and a bit painful, I was paranoid about it, but found I kept opening my mouth as wide as I could to see if it was still doing it...in the end, I promised myself I wouldnt "test" it as much and it went away after a few weeks....so resist the temptation of the "testing" if you know what I mean, and see how it goes!
