a second steroid injection did it for but far from cured. Some days it can still be quite bad but with the stretches I learned at physio I seem to manage to loosen it off and it is very bareable. I hope you find something to help.
Request an X-ray to see if it has developed into a heel spur. If it has, any remedy will be temporary at best until it is removed.
I'm not going to be much help but I have had this for nearly 2 years now. At present it is not too bad so I think it's on the mend, then suddenly it will worsen and will even wake me at nights. I haven't been to the doctor because I'm not sure what he can do but I ought to perhaps go. Do steroid injections give any relief and for how long (and are they painful?!)
I find that the stretching exercises, elevating my foot and the old cold & hot treatment give some relief.
Ive got this, my doctor said the injections are very painful and dont work,i have a night splint, very thick padded slippers and i purchased flyflot shoes that have a anatomic foot bed with is very springy to walk on. This all helps and i take diclofenac which is a painkiller and anti inflammatory.
The doctor told me its very hard to cure you just have to rest as much as possible and keep up the treatment. Fingers crossed it will get better
