Alcohol Units.
26 Answers
If you are within a target weight, have normal blood pressure, can afford to drink, do not become violent, do not drive whilst under ANY influence, never feel the need to have a drink, do not have any liver or kidney issues, are not worried about sperm count etc etc etc
..............are Govt. guidelines for alcohol units really necessary?
I can totally see the point of our nanny state clamping down on smoking, the end of the day you will get cancer and die in a phlegm filled stinking coughing tizzy, but unless you are a raving alcoholic but still exceed the three-four units a day, who cares????
Surely only alkies get scirrosis (sp?) etc, no?

At the age of 42 I had 5 days in a NHS ward , prior to a transfer to go private for another 5 days.
During my stay with the NHS, I would say that 50% of the guys in the ward were their due to drink.
Yes they have paid their NI over the years , so as far as I'm concerned they have more entitlement to treatment , than any other Tom Dick and Harry who rolls up in England for free treatment.
Anyway seeing a chap, aged 50 with a gut the size of a woman who was 7 months pregnant ....all due to a liver problem. nowt they could do him other than try to get rid of the fluid build up in his body. He told me he was a builder an used to drink 5 pints everyday after work.
I felt sorry for his wife and kids...
Would imagine he is long gone now

Actually knobby, my relationship with whiffey is as follows.
We met up in a God awful chav-infested holiday resort where by we compared beer guts and how fact we could eat a kebab.
We then kept in touch and posted loads of drunken hate-fuelled posts to other people who did not conform to our special way of life.
As said, that is beer, kebabs and rough women,
Due to our shared lack of culture and disapproval of anything half decent we really get on well.
Also we spend 17 hours a day on here spouting pro-scotch filth.
Also we text loads of other ABers and instigate harassment warnings.
Me and Whiffey, like two peas in a pod.
