Private e-mails and credit data being used to bully me.
I am currently involved in a very ugly legal law suit with my ex life and business partner over joint business assets. Because of numerous attempts to intimidate me by phone and letters during the past 15 months, he has been officially warned several times not to contact me directly, including 2 warnings from my solicitor and one warning from the police. Last week I became aware that he had a credit report run on me (without my consent) and that he also has accessed my private email accounts and has copied over six years of my saved private emails. Then he accessed my Skype telephony account and took my contacts names and began to contact friends, family and business contacts and has shared private and personal information which he could have only gotten from my emails and told them about my negative credit info and has also told these people that I stole "hundreds of thousands of dollars" from him. Last but not least, he has told these people that I have been, and still am involved in a scheme to use Internet dating sites to find men to scam. I have proof he said these things as he was bold enough (or stupid) to make these statements on voicemail and in letters and emails. He recently sent me an email and threatened to use this information against me in court if I don't back off, which seems to be intimidation at the least, and blackmail at the worst.
These actions have been emotionally devastating to me but I have no intention of being bullied by him. Now I am considering bringing a suit against him for harassment. My question is, do I have a viable case?
