help wanted for my mum please. she is taking sage tablets at the moment, which did seem to help at first, but not really convinced now. has anyone got any other ideas as to what is really effective or can be taken with sage as she is reluctant to stop taking them in case the condition intensifies. thank all

A lot of women swear by Black Cohosh and Red Clover.
They didn't help me though! xx
Evening Primrose was a God send for me and I still take it, 7 years later, for my joints. Make sure she takes the maximum dose though. Holland and Barratt are very helpful and often sell them cheap.
All of the above are said to be very good, but I believe they need to be taken for a quite a time, on a regular basis, before you see any changes in yourself. Herbal remedies contain plant-based oestrogen, which I personally believe are better than conventional HRT treatments, but you should always consult your doctor before trying any of these.
