Canvas 'transporter'

When a friend fell & broke her hip in Edinburgh, the paramedics moved her from where she fell, to the ambulance, in a fold-up canvas chair with wheels. Does anyone know if they are on the market, as they seem to be much more portable and convenient than the normal wheelchair, especially in a home that isn't wheelchair friendly?

Seem to be loads of US links for portable wheelchairs on google but very few UK ones.
