I have suspect cauda equina syndrome - as in i am yet to get the results from my MRI scan which i had in May....the symptoms have gotten worse but this makes no difference i cannot get an earlier appointment than september!!!!

Some days are better than others, the bottom of my back aches and i cannot bend, and if i do manage to bend then i struggle to straighten up....i have immense pain in my left heel, and sometimes in the ankle....making walking painful.

I can hardly move when i get out of bed, although a new mattress has aided sleep as was beginning to struggle, i could only lay on my side, now i can lay on my back again.

Sitting can be uncomfortable anywhere, on the train, at work or in front of the tv!!!

I have stiffness in my buttocks, and i have been suffering with irregular bowel movements.

So, a i said, it hasn't been confirmed but the specialist was 90% sure due to all my symptoms. Until then i have never heard of it before.

What is your experience from it?? treatments etc.
