pain 6 months post c section!
3 Answers
I had my baby six months ago via an emergency c section and it took me about 8 weeks to recover initially I honestly felt like I had been hit by a bus (as I imagine that would be as painful).
I healed ok and never had any feeling in the area around the scar or deep through the layers they cut but six months on now I get bad pains, and to touch the scar now is really rather painful. Is this just the nerves coming back to life now? after all they were cut and it was numb for a long time anyone else experience the same? Thanks x x

Always worth a word with the health visitor or trip to the GP just to checked though as obviously every body is different and you'll want to rule out infection around the scar or anything like that - I picked up a nasty infection in my wound and ,boy, did it hurt!
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little one.

Like you said buzz it is a very big operation and both of us almost died I had severe pre eclampsia and spent a week in intensive care after, and my baby spent 8 weeks in it as she was only 1lb 15oz but she is now a whopping 13lbs and doing ok apart from some problems!
I am a single parent with not many people to talk to so in a weird way its nice to hear from people who have been through the same and understand. Shell the pain poes feel muscular at times too so maybe its them healing too?
