Over the past month I have been exercising really hard - cycling 8 miles a day (over 5 days) and more recently (over the last two weeks) swimming 45 minutes as well a day (over 5 days). I don't have a bad diet and drink plenty of water but I don't seem to be loosing any weight, if anything putting it on! Any ideas as to why this is happening?????

I'm glad things seem to be heading in a different direction, you didn't seem too happy before hun
I don't know the answer to your question other than what was suggested above that muscle is heavier than fat. Just wanted to check you were ok
It does sound like the muscle thing that yogasun said in the first answer.
Muscle does in fact weigh heavier than fat.

I agree with the others gaining muscle will have an effect on you weight but surely you are noticing your clothes are looser? Keep the exercise up, you will soon be dropping dress sizes and will really notice the difference when you start to tone up. Are you doing small weights and toning exercises too? (like bicep curls and sit ups etc)
