Frontline spray works best, but the spot on is effective, and cheaper online.

i tend to buy both frontline and spot on from asda and alternate the two - cheap one month, expensive the next! it just spreads the cost a bit more. if i notice the critters scratching a bit more tho (i.e. summer or when the central heating is raging) i will use the frontline more. find out what works for you - and you can get stuff cheap online from bestpet.co.uk or .com (can't remember which) that is the same as from a vet but much cheaper
I use Frontline for cats (drops on the back of the neck) every 5 weeks for my two gorgeous girls and also have a can of Skoosh for carpets, soft furnishings etc (but I've never had to use it because the Frontline works so well).
The best prices I found were from petvetcare.co.uk (6 months supply of Frontline for one cat for 15.46) - most places charge about this for just 3 months supply! Here's the link - http://www.petvetcare.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_c opy_of_copy_of_Frontline_For_Cats.html
Acclaim spray for soft furnishings works very well and lasts for 12 months - costs 12.15 for a large can. Skoosh is a bit dearer (14.59) but works on fleas, eggs, larvae and pupae.

I would agree with jugglering. Frontline spot on for the cats and skoosh for the house. I get my frontline and my drontal wormer) from www.petmeds.co.uk. Free p&p. items have always arrived within 3 days. Jugglerings site looks cheaper though so i may try there next time (although once you have used petmeds, they tend to email you a newsletter once a month which contains a discount code, so my last set of frontline (6 pack) cost 15.80.)
