Odd symptoms, in the abscence of any other symptoms, nothing common comes to mind, Wait and see I feel.
Hi Sqad. You were right about yesterday !!

(sorry to interrupt the thread).
Morning jayne, I tht a thread on "tingly tongue" may get you going. Fond memories of Brighton, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Plough at Rottingdean etc.
You know The Plough, Sqad ?

We love it there. It's a proper, pubby pub. Although I think we like the location, more than the pub. Rottingdean is so jolly, with the pond. It's just like a real village (although it gets a lot of tourists).

Vitamin B12 deficiency?
Maybe.bellabee (sounds like the first line of a song LOL LOL, B12 deficiency produces a sore tongue, tamiira describes her husband symptoms as "tingling" tongue.
Can't think of anything better though.

Thanks for your not so helpful answers, i will just carry on worrying then shall i !
If you are so worried tamirra, tell him to go see a doctor!! Its not rocket science!
A tingling tongue is a classic symptom of insufficient calcium in your body. This is usually due to poor diet. (e.g. some people shun dairy products, which are rich in calcium, because they're concerned about the fat content, while forgetting that they need the calcium provided by dairy products). Another cause is problems with the parathyroid glands, which regulate calcium levels in the body.

Glpblondie im not thick, he is a typical bloke that wont go to the doc, but no need to be so rude.
tamirra, we DO have your problem at heart and I do not believe glpblondie means to be rude. The symptoms in isolation are very odd and as I have said to not bring anything to mind and perhaps you may need to wait for the development, or not, of further symptoms. Ca.deficiency and Parathyroid disorders are extremely uncommmon.

Thanks squad, his symptoms have now gone to his lips and still his tongue.
Right tamirra, 2 things come now to mind:
1) Side effect of drugs (is he taking any tablets?)
2) Anxiety state.

Hi, no he isn`t on any kind of medication, but he is under a lot of stress, why would this cause the sensation then?
Well, I don't know the patho-physiology of it, but it has been well reported in the medical journals, a form of hysteria oe severe anxiety state.
