terrible cough and headache

I had a tiny bit of a sore throat and swollen glands last week and for the past week a cough. But since yesterday morning I sound like I have a cold or throat infection but it is all in my head. No I havent imagined it I mean above my nose. My noses isnt runny and seems to be down the back of my throat.Also now a terrible headache. The cough either makes me sick now or I think I am going to be. It really isnt very nice. I am now on Robitussin cough syrup. Has anyone else had this.??

Ive got something similar, started off with a sore throat and cough, one minute ive got a cold and then I havent (its driving me mad) but yesterday despite me appearing to be cold free, my sinuses were really blocked and my head felt like it was gonna crack....a lot of people have got it....strange!

yep its doing the rounds,starts off like a cold but then tails off.have you lost your voice yet??,its the cough thats the worse part, only just got rid it it now,taken weeks,i felt like i was going to be sick as i coughed that much,even when i went to bed it wouldnt stop wish you well!!!

My voice went croaky yesterday and today I have been sick twice with coughing/Havent slept much the last two nights with coughing all night long. Are you going to bother going to doctors? not sure if it is any use going. ? hope you are both feeling much better soon. Merry Christmas.!

hi lilac never went to the docs,whats is the point,just as abers said drank loads of fluids,be prepared though doesnt go for some weeks,taken me a few weeks to get over it!!
