What is a good cure for hot flushes?

I had a hysterectomy in 2007 and am unable to take HRT. I have tried Black Cohosh but that hasn't worked, someone mentioned sage, but I don't kinow about that, has anyone any suggestions?

Evening Primrose worked a treat for me, 12 years later I'm still taking it every day as my doctor said it's good for the joints too.
It takes a while to start feeling the effects but in my opinion it's well worth persevering. Good luck.

I would go & have a chat with someone at your local health shop. What works for one person may not work for another. They can also advise you re what to take/avoid if you`re on other meds.

If you have a Holland & Barrett shop near you they have a whole section devoted to such products.

Evening Primrose or starflower are supposed to be good. Holland and Barratt are fab - the staff really know their stuff, they are bound to be able to help.
