As u may be aware, I fell backwards down the stairs last nite, upshot was, tried to pretend i was ok, ambulance came, i passed out, i've *** round and discharged myself from hospital. My dogs were attacked yesterday, all I care about is being here for them, am I wrong ?Wot wud u have dun ? x x
discharching yourself to get home to your dogs, seriously you need to get a grip, surely your health should mean more afterall your dogs are ok arent they?
Used what little was left of my brain after a knock on the noggin and figured that a missed fractured skull or serious concussion resulting in me passing out and choking on my own vomit because I discharged myself early might not keep the dogs in pedigree chum in the long term... Go get yourself the once over at your GP's tomorrow and stop acting like such a martyr.
I have 2 dogs and many cats, but if something happened and I were to end up in hospital I would stay there until I was told I could leave by someone who knew what they were talking about.
I love all my pets, but still know that my health and well being should come before theres. After all, what use am I to them and how could I look after them if I was in a box 6ft under?
what sort of examination did they give you? About a month ago i had to go to A&E after a nasty bang on the top of my head, (door closed on me as I was picking a rack header up) they gave me a range to tests to check if there might have been anything seriously wrong as a result of the knock. If they did this for you I am sure they will have also told you that it was unwise to go home if you did not have anyone with you, as the leaflets they give are for the person taking care of the person with the head injury. as you have discharged yourself you are a very silly girl and ought to have known better, you must keep yourself very quiet and rest and if you feel queazy or anyway dizzy or sick then ring that NHS helpline immediately. Tut, you should also let people know you are home and ask them to keep in touch with you over the next few days.
curvybird I worked with "brain injured" people, and I URGE you to go back to the hospital immediately. Please, or you may not be around to take care of your dogs.
I have got a real problem with health an stuff, no matter how bad i feel, i always think theres people worse off than me.In the last year I have become menopausal, had a
period that lasted 10 months, bin diagnosed with Crohns disease, found to have tumours on both ovaries, one 5 inches big and have had 2 suspect, maybe cancerous smears. Waiting for results. But I still felt mardy today and couldn't wait to get out of the place
