If you've tried all those and nothing's worked you really need to get your GP to refer you to a specialist. I ended up having 3 operations on my nose before it got any better.
It did clear the problem in the end though and it may be yours will not be as problematic.

Thanks jan. I know there's an operation they do but i'm self-employed & can't really do with taking time off.
Jan is correct, you may think that it is sinus pain , but it may be coming from any part of the nose or sinuses.

See your GP and ask to see an ENT surgeon for investigation and treatment.
Which tablets have you tried? I find sudafed really work for me when i have sinus pain or blocked sinuses
Question Author
Sudafed tablets & nasel sprays Chazza.
I have had sinus problems since I was a teenager & I am now 38. I have had an operation about 10 years ago, which only eased the pain slightly, but as the years has been passing I have been in a a lot of pain again. I have been given antibotics, hayfever sprays, but didn't really help, I say my GP & asked to be reffered to the Ears Nose & Throat specialist again. The consultant examined me & has diagnosed that it is not sinus problems, but that my nerve endings in my nose are ultra sensitive & asked if the pain is like a migraine in my nose, I agreed & he prescribed an anti depressant drug called Amitriptyline, the prescribed amount I use is very small compared to people who use this drug for anti depressant, therefore there are no addiction or side effects. This drug relaxes the nerve endings & I think it is great, the only drawback is that I have to take every day for the rest of my life. I have been taking these for about 12-18? months now & as long as I keep taking these drugs, I am pain free.
I would suggest contacting your GP & ask for a referral if this sinus pain is persistent.
