Sorry sqad,
I've been trying to get back on here since I posted! Having problems with lap top. O.k, just had a phone call from docs re. thyroid blood test. I've been a month now on reduced dosage of Thyroxine from 175mg to having 150mg/175mg every other day. Apparently I'm still over prescribed? I am not feeling over prescribed! Just the opposite to be honest! I get home and fall asleep, I only work part time. What would cause a t.f.t. to show over prescribed? Receptionist said something about something still being supressed. Sorry I'm vague! I'm having a telephone consultation tomorrow. I wont be too happy if I have to reduce my dosage yet again, I've already put weight on. Thanks for taking the trouble replying x
sachs...it is ESSENTIAL that you ask for the results of your TSH.

Without that figure, I caqnnot advice you. Coujld you phone the surgery, this evening?

I'm not sure the receptionist would have that sqad. I will definately ask tomorrow though. Thanks sqad x
sachs...to be pre warned for tomorrow:

If your TSH is high....increase your thyroxine dose.

If your TSH is low....decrease your thyroxine level.

This should give you some ammunition.
