Worried

I wonder if any one could give me some advice about some chest pains that I have been experiencing. About 3 years ago I started to get some left sidied chest pain, I went to my GP and I had an ECG and some blood tests done(i cant remember which ones) both of these came back normal. The doctor diagnosed me with muscle pain and told me not to worry. In December last year the pain came back again (the pain only lasts for a few seconds goes away then comes back again later) but now I have a ache down my left arm and occasionally say once every two months I get a slight head rush/dizzyness that also lasts for a few seconds. I have been back to three different GPs since then and they have all diagnosed me with anxiety. Just wondered if you think that it may be connected to my heart as i'm convinced that I do have a heart problem. Im female, aged 28, non smoker , no family history of heart problems and my blood pressure has always been in the ideal range although high blood pressure runs in my family but it is controlled adequately by medication. The chest pain comes on randomly and I don't really get breathless. Sorry for banging on i'm just really worried that the doctors have missed something.

Actually, women are protected from heart problems while they're menstruating but become as vunerable as men to heart attacks once they get to the menopause. I'm no doctor but this is what I've been told.
So, don't worry and when you get one of those pains sit down and take some long deep breaths...
