Now in the Gobi desert all there is is sand
and i mean sand with a capital S.
If you think the beach at Southport is big
take a walk or better still a bicycle ride round
the Gobi.It has more sand than Southport and
all the B&Q shops put together, Sand as far
as the eye can see and beyond. It is at least
10 times bigger than the size of Southport
beach
After 4 days romping round the Gobi we
headed back to our secret camp.It was that
secret even we had trouble finding it.
As we entered the camp we could not believe
our eyes. The lion was sat next to Albert , now
Albert was a big bloke from a place called darwin
in Lancashire now when i say big i mean big with
a capital B , probably through tasting all that good
food that he cooked. As we walked over the lion
ran off.
Albert looked as the big cat ran off and then
looked at us and said has one of you hurt my Cat
We stood there in fear as Albert scanned our
faces. He said my Cat has had bad watering eyes
since you picked up your packed Tuna lunch 4
days ago ?
Quick thinking Johnny Rambo said it will be the
sand mate the desert is full of the stuff. Stick your
head out the camp gates mate there is sand
everywhere.
Don't know if Albert believed us every time that
Cat saw Johnny and me it would run off.
We later found out that it was a Persian blue
called Tiddles that liked Tuna.
Evil thing with big claws.
