Sorry - had to laugh at Chris's remark.
Anyway devilspawn, if you need surgery, the results are pretty good. I know two people who've had bunions removed, and they both had pins put into their feet to straighten the toes. This's had no detrimental effect, and if it removed the pain, then it can only be a good thing.

Seems that it is downhill from here and that I must now get rid of my nice new shoes that I bought.....

or put up with the pain for a while longer (until the shoes fall off my feet!)

Thanks Ice - am just at the beginning of one... its causing me pain but nothing major, which is why the doc suggested a spacer.

However he also looked at my other foot and said that also had the makings of one.

Will kill my parents as it is apparently genetic.

If it`s starting, it`s worth trying a spacer as it will keep the toe straighter.

i had the opp and my bunion came back, so dont think it is a good idea to have removal,
