Sex drive and hormones

I'm 45, and going through the menopause :o( I have 2 questions 1. Is it normal for your sex drive to go thru the roof ? and 2. Why am I having the strongest,most intense orgasms ever ?
Please don't make fun anybody, both the above are making my life difficult, as I am TOTALLY driven by them. I just wondered if it was phase that will pass

hiya, one reason could be that being 45 you are in the prime of your life,and this is when women usually experiance and reach their peak,for a great and satisfiying love life,while some women suffer loss in the menopause years, some are at their highest, it could also be that your hormones are out of sync as you say you are driven by them. maybe you should consult your doc, but have fun and enjoy!

what's the difference between a hormone and an enzyme?

if your oestrogen and progesterone are declining, meaning that your testosterone is dominant, then you're going to be very sexually driven. it may (probably will) change, but don't question it, just go with the flow and enjoy!!

Hi.
I'm 48 and just experiencing the same thing.After my eldest was born (19 yrs ago) my sex drive was practically non existant.It has remained like that till recently.My poor hubby has stuck with me on a diet of once every month if he was lucky. Now I can't wait to get him upstairs everynight.
I'm enjoying it, he's worried !!!!.
