Lump Under Chin

Morning, I have woken up today with what seems like a swollen gland but under my chin. I do get swollen glands on my neck a lot but never under my chin. Is this what it could be?

I get mine behind my ear figure that one out

4get...behind the ear is just the same group as any where else in the neck

Behind the ear are called post auricular glands and are affected by the same processes as the other cervical glands.

What does this mean, will it just go away?

sazzy....depends what it is, what it is due to and to answer that you need to see your Dr for an examination and perhaps some tests.

no sqad this one is one that should be on right of my neck. I dont have one there and doc said it moved when I was born. You can actually see it over my bone right behind my ear

4get...it was the gland that never was..........it has always been an inclusion dermoid.

Could possibly be a swollen submental lymph gland. Agree with Sqad that a visit to your GP is in order.
