thanks for your replies.
Hubby rushed to hospital with breathing problems, he is a 50 something with severe diabetes [insulin injecting], problem this time was severe odema [ no Dvt] and they put him on a Ferusimide drip every day for a week, odema now under control and he feels much better, discharged from hosp and given 2 Furesimide 80mg per day, after 7 days at home GP sent him for a blood test to see how his kidneys are reacting to all this, then she phoned with the results to say come down to 40mg immediately, only drink 2 and half litres a day, salt free diet and come back for another blood test next week.
Hubby says he was once told tomatoes arent good for kidney problems and I was wondering what other foods he should avoid, all our meals are cooked from scratch no take aways etc.
any advice would be helpful.
