So Tiger Woods is allegedly in a sex addiction clinic in his native USA... I don't know if such clinics exist in the UK or anywhere else outside the States, but I don't see the point of them other than to maybe make wronged people feel some effort is being made by their unfaithful partners to atone for their misdemeanours. Thing is: sexual urges are natural, and sex (if protected) is a physically healthy activity - unlike drugs and drink which I can understand the need for treating in certain circumstances. One report I read stated that patients such as Tiger have to refrain from sex for 60 days following treatment, but I can't see the point in that. Surely it's not the strong desire for sex that needs treating but the tendency to be unfaithful, which is a different matter altogether. Isn't it?

Think he's attending same clinic that Michael Douglas attended.
I agree with your comments, Sex is a normal healthy urge. He was just being a Dog and being unfaithful.
Americans have an incredible amount of respect for those who having 'sinned' then subject themselves to 'reprogramming' and seek forgiveness, publically and privately.

I think Mrs Woods would have preferred him to have kept half an eye on his wedding vows, in the first place.
He is a complete bustard who thought he could sh*g any tart (and they all are) and get away with it. His ego was obviously a million times bigger that his c**k!!!
His (much more beautiful wife than any of the tarts) is mental if she doesn't divorce him - he will never be trustworthy again! She will be a laughing stock
*publicly..............
You give it to him (Tiger) Paross !! lol
Once I get my dander up Redman!!
Funny......when the Tiger Woods story broke I actually posted on AB that he would be claiming to be a sex addict and seeking treatment before long.
Well, it'll mean all his fans will feel sorry for him now he's declared to be addicted to sex. I've read Bill Clinton's biography and he had (probably still has) this problem. Whenever a woman showed any interest he needed to bed her; that's how he thought. Even after a few miles of jogging he still could do it!
At least, his wife realises he's doing something to sort out this problem.
the unattached can spend too much time chasing sex too, so it's not just about being faithful.
But men are not naturally faithful because they do not see the sex act as anything to do with being unfaithful as they do not naturally invoke or summon their emotions when they are having sex like women naturally do.

I have no problem insulting many men at all, I maybe see things from a totally different perspective to yourself. I don;t necessarily speak from personal experience but it is my view on the subject
On no hang on, I;ve totally changed my mind and do not agree with my previous post that upset you, oh no hang on, yes i do, or no wait..... yes you;ve made me change my mind...oh no, sorry, you haven;t

see, sex just confuses people of both genders.

I'm not sure if it's caused by too much or too little, though.
What would one do if you had a sex addiction and couldn't find a partner?
A hypothetical question, you understand.
You'd be a pretty mean card shuffler :-)
Ahms you're so funny! your 15:14 post is hilarious - sorry Dot. Although I think Dot has a point somewhere. I don't think Woods saw his liasions as being unfaithful, he is in a sex clinic to try and save his marriage which wouldn't have been in a problem in the first place if he hadn't gone for extra-marital sex?
Sex addiction is ***. It's just another way of avoiding reponsiibility for your actions. It was the addiction wot done it, not me - the addiction made me relentlessly pursue those women for sex, I'm a victim here - a victim of the addiction.
It's something that's been dreamt up by american lawyers over the last 30 years as a way of mitigating their clients behaviour, for monetary purposes.
