Stupid annoying cough!!

I havent had a cold but I have such an awful cough. I can feel cattarh going down the back of my throat and have to keep clearing my throat. Then I start coughing for no reason and just cough and cough. Only stopping when I think I am going to be sick, So does everyone else around me.!! It seems worse at night and then my eyes water and my nose gets blocked up as well. Anyone else had this.? Has anyone an idea what I can take for it.? Don't want to bother doctor but want to get rid of it.

may just be allergies, try taking a anti-histamine an hour before bed.ceterizine would be best. Dont bother going for expensive ones, morrisons, superdrug, boots all have own brand that have exactly same ingredients xx

Try a teaspoonful of honey and let it trickle down the throat slowly.

I agree with 4get; it does sound like allergies. Speak to your chemist and hear what they suggest.
