same subject another question before i ask for e.n.t. referal!!

i have posted twice on this site now and would like one last piece of mind before i go back to docs on the 20th and ask for an e.n.t. referral.
further to my recent posts i have now finished the course of antibiotics and 2 days later was 95% cured of the ringing in my ears and sinus problem (only left with an interupted squeel in left ear) and i was made up!!, i am still using the nasonex nasal spray, however yesterday i was getting very stressed with my workload at work and came home nearly shaking with stress having left work unfinished, i noticed the onset on the ringing again and then decided to try and unwind by giving myself a head massage, this brought the ringing on even worse and i couldnt sleep last nite, i have noticed that the ringing intensifies if i press my forehead quite hard and slightly if i clench my teeth, i have been experiencing panic conditions over the past few weeks also!
Can the noises in my head be caused by stress????If anyone could enlighten me on this i would be sooo grateful as i thnk im losing the plot!!

Can stress cause tinnitus?......Yes

Would I ask for an ENT referral?.....No.
