It was, as I had hoped & prayed, a benign lymph node. Due most likely to her severe prolonged bout of infective eczema this winter making her lymph glands swell & react. Phew! She was cool about it - when we came out of the waiting room & she went back to work, I cried in the car.... daft mare.

I refer young (& older) ladies every week who have ignored things because of embarrassment or whatever, only for them to suffer needlessly because of it. And young men also - I always remind my son to check his testicles; much to his annoyance - but I bet he does it !!!
I'm glad all is well with your daughter salla and as her mum I'd be shocked if you weren't driven to tears of relief given the good news, it shows you care.
I'll never understand peeps who don't take a few minutes out of their lives every now and again to check themselves over (male or female) It can, and often does save a lot of heartache down the line.
