Short of breath when sigh

My partner feels short of breath when he sighs, that happens from time to time. Could that be related to Acid Reflux which he has as confirmed by Gastroenterologist 2 half years ago. Would humidifier help to breath easily?

Surely he doesn't "sigh" that often.........can't remember the last time I sighed.

This question reminds me of one we had a while ago about breathing problems and sighing sqad :)
If I remember correctly the thread went on for some time!

Sighing (more than usual) can be a sign/symptom of lung problems but i've never heard of it being realted to acid reflux.

Surely it isn't something you would ignore for any length of time!

I sigh a lot.....don't notice until someone asks me whats wrong.

daffy....if he sighs once a day for 5 secs, then from the questioner he is only short pf breath for 5 secs/day..........hardly a medical emergency.

My husband suffers from shortness of breath which is related to his gastric reflux - nothing to do with sighing though.

I have the same trouble sometimes, especially, when i'm nervous. what helps is yawning several times, then just meditation. i guess it has something to do with еру nervous system, so maybe it's better to consult neurologist.
