I've been for my pre-op assessment and my BP results were high. Admittedly I haven't had it tested for 18 months, or so, but it's always been bang-on..........
I don't usually suffer with White-coat syndrome, but am willing to concede that it may have been a factor. I was also on day-5 of a course of anti-biotics for a UTI.
I now have to have have 3 separate tests at my GP surgery to see if my BP is high or if it was just a 'spike'.
As I'm due to have an operation within the next fortnight, if my BP persists in being on the 'high-side' will it have any impact on the surgeon's willingness to proceed with the op ?
Cutetoni, what crime have i commited? None.
My ip software shows me coming from 10 places at once, i use the same software as the fbi, impossible to trace.
ummmm she is the one constantly following me with silly pictures of clowns, her fixation is with me as is kn0bbys,legs and nono's....i have them all in my pocket.
Jack - it still could be 'white coat syndrome' - I have had a few operations over the years and my pressure always goes up - if you have your own blood pressure monitor, take your BP at home , you will normally find it does come down.
Mine goes up even when I go to the dentist, but after I have paid the bill it goes back to normal (;0 (
Thanks, Den.
Ordinarily I wouldn't be bothered but because of the short time until the op I am anxious to make sure that it is not postponed because of what I hope is a temporary blip.
Yes, I hope everything goes well for you also jackthehat. I find that watching a good film relaxes me. How about a comedy with clowns where there's much laughter at their ineptness. ;n)
