Update for Sqad

Hi Sqad
Thought you might be interested in the following. I was so impressed with my "Robotic Prostatectomy" that I contacted the hospital (Frimley Park in Surrey) to see if I could have a look at the "robot" concerned. To my good fortune, I went along last Thursday and met with the theatre manager who not only showed me and my wife the robot, we were also allowed to have a"play" with it. It is quite remarkable. Not only can you see what is going on on a flat screen, when you sit at the console and look through the "binoculars", you are given a 3-D view. It was quite amazing. If technology continues in this vein within the NHS, then waiting lists should be reduced dramatically, due to the greatly reduced recovery times following surgery. The uses for robotic surgery seem to be boundless.Hope you find this interesting. BTW, the "Robot" costs £1.4m !!
