burping/feeling sick

For the last 9 yrs I have suffered from IBS symptoms and last November I decided to do an elimination diet (on my boyfriend;s advice- he's a nutritionist). I found that lactose and wheat were the main culprits. After giving them up, the majority of symptoms disappeared and I had energy again. However, the last few months I have been feeling rough again.This last week in particular has been awful. I have been suffering from burping and feeling sick - my stomach feels queasy and it feels like I'm going to be sick then I burp so loudly and it relieves it for a few minutes and then it happens again. It first started happening duriing exercise and now it's near on everyday. It almost feels like the burp gets stuck! Anyway, I have had enough now! Anyone else had symptoms like these?

Your stomach will reflex to either shoot the food out in order to prevent bacteria on the food from passing through your digestive system or it will churn and try to break it down without the acid. I had similar with reflux, was initially put on Lanzoprazole then Omeprazole and it made a massive difference.
Watching what I eat is key too as certain things set it off more than others.
Limit any additional uneccesary air intake as well as chewing gum or smoking as this can contribute to burping.
I also found eating slower and making sure everything is chewed properly and easier to digest helps.
