My shoulder has been giving me jip for the last couple of weeks.
In the last week I've had tingling in my left hand and not so much tingling up to my elbow.
I have just phoned for doctor app and have to wait till monday, to see my much preferred doctor. Any idea what it could be please x

Hi pusskin, sorry to hear you've been suffering with this - it's not very nice & I speak from experience. I've also suffered with a frozen shoulder in the past, which was equally as painful, but in this case could be due to a pinched nerve:

Hope you feel better soon. ♥

hi smudge! thank you for the link, much appreciated. I've been reading all posts and I reckon that mine is a pinched nerve, or something similiar. I have had carpel tunnel in my left hand, so I dont think its that. I also had a bad fall 2 yrs ago while out on my bike, and suffered in agony for a long while with shoulder pain.
Many thanks for your reply, take cara x pusskins
Not enough description.
1) Is it worse at night?
2) Tingling in the whole hand or just one side....e.g thumb side or little finger side?
3) Forearm numbness...outer side or inner side.?

Thanks.
Question Author
hi squad -- (1) its worse in the day, not so bad at night really.
(2) tingling all fingers + hand. (3) no numbness in forearm or hand.
very achy all around (behind) left side of the shoulder, travelling down to my arm and hand. Seems worse when my hand is relaxing in my lap believe it or not Squad x
pusskin...thanks.

Many causes, but the most likely is cervical spondylosis........no big deal.....but you may need X-rays or MRI scan on your cervical spine (neck)

Give us some feedback after seeing the Dr.
Question Author
many thanks Squad! its not like me to moan about such things, but it is a pain in the whatsit! I'm not in enough pain for painkillers, and keep rotating my arm thinking it will do it good, but tingling persists. Maybe I do need scans as my knees have never been a problem till a couple of months ago. I've had 2 accasions when I was hardly able to walk, trying to walk upstairs. Can walk for miles but not when trying to walk upstairs.
How weird is that squad ? x
Question Author
sorry Squad --thought I'd mention my knees as well, in case there is a connection some where along the line. x pusskins
