This week I've had mumps but its pretty much gone now, I'm an 18 year old male and last night, i had the worst fever ive ever had, it was actually painful and its left me in a lot of pain (head ache, back pain, legs are aching etc). its not meningitis, i had the jab for that. im just wondering if its normal for fevers to be so crippling and painful.

It is the viral kind for which there is no real treatment and no vaccination, although thankfully it also is less serious. You should visit a doctor - those symptoms are a little worrying and a simple blood test can confirm it. Hope you have someone to look after you!
