Well, all things are possible. I think we'd need specialised comment on this. But I'd say NO.

NO.

Hairs can grow out of the skin of the outer one third from the ear canal.

its strange isnt it? They seem to appear in a very short time!
They implant on the top of his ears and keep on growing. ( 1" long?) lol
Question Author
there isnt hundreds off them, just a few each time they grow on the very top of his ears, not inside the ears though
No, certainly not, the hairs in the ears are not related to the hairs on the head - they will be growing in the ears of their own accord - as do hairs in the nose and in/on other places!
They don't implant. They just spring up while you're not looking.
its age I am afraid
It's the same way that everything on us females shifts south with age, it just affects their hair too ;) (ps, have you had a look at his nose lately?)
Question Author
ha ha they do seem to appear while not looking --they come from no-where.
maybe his age and going crotchety might have something to do with it!
oh well, another problem over with.
many thanks for answers folks x

LOL LOL Sorry, couldn't help myself. Of course I know you'll understand. ;-)
Pusskin, I hate to bring this up, but there aren't any hairs springing up on the palms of his hands? He might be a werewolf.
Perhaps with age the ears have become more fertile ground for hair growth. ;-)
