ovulation related

happy new year everyone

i cam off depo as in previous post to try and start for a family this has been 2 1/2 years now i have just had bloods done and checked progesterone to see if i am ovulating..... doc said he wanted to see a count of more than 30, well mine came back at 32 he said that i had deffinetly ovulated.... Is 32 a good enough number does it mean i only just ovulated and should that number of been better.. thanks

hi i don't think there is such a thing as "only just ovulated"; you either do or don't!

i think its cos ive been trying for so long and im questioning everything...just waiting for hospital appointment now ... really dont want to go i just wanted things to happen naturally :-(

have you thought about doing ovulation tests then doing the deed on the positive days?

yes i use those .. they are a god send as i am a little irregular too... i hope its just a matter of time till i fall pregnant as im running out of time at being 36 OH is ok he has been tested

honey, 36 is NOT OLD. My mum had my brother when she was 47, I have several friends who first gave birth in their 40s.

hi, if you have positive ovulation sticks AND the blood results are good, don't worry about ti. How long ago was your partner tested? Fertility can change over time. I again know how you feel as i am also 36 - It feels old even if everyone else says it's not, plus fertility does decline the older you get. Having been to the fertility clinic myself, i can say they do get on with it, although if you need IVF you will be outside the age range probably, so my advice would be start saving up

i think i maybe think about it too much maybe subconciously... oh got tested just in november and they were good results well into the guide lines.... im gonna concentrate on maybe getting fit to take my mind off it abit
