Do they shrink with age ?

I have been to the Docs this morning as those two large lumps at either side of my throat are very swollen and inflammed. I have a tempreture and feel rough. Doc says 'you don't have any tonsils' - of course I have tonsils, I have never had them out. He says I have a viral infection in my throat.

I think some people have small tonsils, I've had doctors ask when I had mine out too.

Den....come on.....if you havent had your tonsils out....you have still got them.....not rocket science.....;-)

Some thinks do "shrivel" with age.............but NOT your tonsils....;-)

I know Sqad - what a complete twonk this GP is - I have had quite a few ops in my lifetime and a few parts of me are missing, but I know for a fact my tonsils are still there and inflammed and bloody hurting...........(:0 (

hahaha - you always make me laugh Sqad........I'll take a rain cheque on the offer of an examination, with or without your torch - I feel quite poorly and will stick with gargling with salt and my Iburofens.........(:0 (
