Assisted Dying, Here's Where It...

Hi
Im young, healthy and have a healthy diet. Im not overweight at all, yet I always seem to be sweaty under my arms! Ive tried, loads of antiperspirants/deodorants, including the mitchum ones, and nothing helps! Obviously I bathe and wash daily, but by the end of the day I start to smell bad! I.ve tried wearing loose cotton clothes, but that doesnt work either. Its getting to the point wear I have to carry a small deodorant around becuase Im getting paranoid!! And I always wear black on top!! Are there any tablets I can try from the doc?? Please dont say its hormones and it will sort itself out becuase at 18, and having had period problems etc, and having tried loads of pills for that, Im starting to give up! I started puberty at 11 or so, so they should have calmed down a bit now!!

The NHS will only cover it though if your GP does agree that you sweat an abnormal amount (not meaning to be nasty or anything).
You are doing all the right things though - natural fibres, washing regularly etc.Keep it up, and hope you find a solution.
I used to have the same problem with my hands - the sweat used to drip off them all the time! I ended up having an operation to sever some sweat glands, which worked for my hands but I sweated more everywhere else. I used to have to wear dark coloured trousers/skirts so the sweat patches wouldn't show. No-one could ever explain why I sweated so much but I definitely think it was to do with hormones as I've had quite bad hormone problems over the years. They're settling down now and I've noticed that I don't sweat as much as I used to.
Other people don't notice it nearly as much as you think they do.
