Has anyone had the Yellow Fever Vaccination? If so, could you advise of the side effects experienced?

Never had one.

Google side effects of yellow fever vaccination.

Basically they are mild and no big deal....sore arm maybe.

Hypersensitivity is a more dangerous reaction but only occurs in about 1.100,000( I think)

Google it for accurate facts.
Why is it called Yellow fever? Does a person with Yellow fever turn yellow?
In nutshell......virus attacks liver................leads to jaundice and fever

YELLOW FEVER.
Thanks Sqad! What would we do without you on here. :-)
I had one yonks ago (30 odd years) among a load of others. It was the most painful because it went into the muscle not just subcut but not anywhere near agony and least side effects, none.
I have had the Yellow fever Vacc some years ago when I was in the Navy but did not suffer any reaction. Some people may do as we are all different and as Squad suggests, Google it !

Couldn't agree more Squad, saw many a Clinic on my Travels but the most important thing was that at least everyone went for a Check Up to make sure they were OK !
Nothing worse than keeping quiet and passing on the Pox to innocent victims as is sometimes the case.

red....too bloody right.

Syphilis and Gonorrhoea were common or garden......basic stuff, just Google

1) Lymphogranuloma Inguinale

These were particularly common among negroes.

Thankfully when I was at sea, Aids was unheard of, it's a relatively 'New' modern disease and is causing massive problems World wide and especially in Africa.
It would be interesting to find out where the first case of Aids was found and what was established as the cause. Sex with Animals Squad ?? You know the Medical background better than me.
