Blood sugar can be in mmoles/mlitre or mgms/mililitre.
In Europe it is usually the former....in the UK it is the latter.
Normal is approx 70-130mgms/litre or 4-7 millimoles/litre.
I bet the 4 points relate to the former.......in which case it is no big deal and why do you take 2 readings?

quincy, you really dont need to bother testing your blood sugar levels twice like that.. just once, each time, is enough.
test when you wake, before eating (and then 2 hours later to get a good indication of how different foods affect you) and then test again at bed time.
the difference in 'points' could be that you might have had something sweet on the other finger tip or something, hence the slightly increased reading.
how are your levels by the way, are they ok?
