Since I started taking Morphine caps yesterday I am being very sick after about an hour after eating food. Is this normal until I get used to them, if so how long will it take?

Many doctors give an anti-sickness drug along with these painkillers for the first week or so. This stops you feeling sick. Once you get used to your painkillers you can stop taking the anti-sickness drugs. But if the sickness doesn't go away, you will need to carry on taking the anti-sickness tablets.

According to the NHS website, vomiting is a relatively common side effect of taking Morphine Sulphate tablets:

It would be unwise to assume that any side effect, of any drug, will go away after a period of time. Go back to your GP (or specialist) and make it clear that it's the wrong drug for you.
