Sad news

Sylvia (Mrs Welshyorkie) passed away at 0636 this morning

She had fought so hard and it seems very unfair that despite this a donor wasn't found in time

So Julian when you feel up to reading this all I can say is my thoughts are with you and your family right now

Hi Everyone, first can I say a big thank you on behalf of my family for all your kind messages. It is a very tough time for us all as you can imagine. I would like to thank some people who get little or no recognition and they are the nurses and doctors at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. They are all so dedicated to their jobs, patients and the relatives. Sylvia's care was second to none. Secondly, I would like to thank Rowan for her support. Although I have thanked her in person, I would like you all to know that she was there for us every single day and that she passed on your good wishes to us. I would also like to thank our 2 sons who were by my side throughout our tough journey and I would like to tell them that I love them both so much. Finally, I would like to thank Sylvia for the 36 wonderful years we had and you will live in my heart forever - Rest in Peace, my darling, Julian
