Weird marks

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I have these things under my arms which look like scratches or stretch marks.  They are red and VERY noticeable.  They are not stretch marks as they do disappear.  I know they aren't scratches as they aren't raised and I know that I do not scratch them in the night.  It's not from shaving as they are above and below that area.  I am just curious to know what they are.  They disappear after a few days then come back.  I also have a few marks at the top of one of my legs, but they are very minor compared to the ones I get under my arms.  The only medication I take it the Pill (Dianette).  Do you know what it could be?  thanks

It sounds really pathetic and I'm probably wrong, but it could be that you're sleeping differently on you're skin. Are they like creases? Sorry if I'm wrong

Don't panic Miss C, I have had them as well, so it's not your pill that's causing them!

I'm inclined to go with beth's response, I think they are caused by sleeping in a certain position, for the marks, and the scratches may be caused by food crumbs, or even a bit of grit, that has lodged against your skin, and chafes in the night. Mine have stopped, now, so I'm sure yours will too.

Thanks to both of you, you've made put my mind at rest to know I'm not the only one and they don't sound serious.  No, they're not like creases.  Thanks
